The SEI Technology Automation Team has an exciting career opportunity for a Process Engineer with strong technical expertise. This position requires hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate, API integration, and tools like SharePoint, combined with a solid understanding of business processes in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will thrive in an Agile environment, be adaptable, and demonstrate the ability to translate business requirements into automated solutions.

What you will do:

  • Design, develop, and implement automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate, leveraging connectors, triggers, and advanced components to streamline business processes.
  • Integrate APIs and build custom connectors to enable seamless data exchange between systems.
  • Utilize SharePoint for document management, workflow automation, and collaboration solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across SEI to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Collect, analyze, and document business rules, processes, and prepare documentation or both current and newly engineered processes.
  • Analyze existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and engineer improvements using automation tools.
  • Collect, analyze, and document business rules and processes, ensuring alignment with automation strategies.
  • Lead requirements-gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders for complex automation projects as needed
  • Ensure project timelines and deliverables for automation initiatives are being met as well as ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Assist with system testing and coordinate with business users for validation of automated workflows.
  • Monitor and optimize automated processes using control systems and analytics to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Measure and report on realized improvements versus forecasted goals.

What we need from you:

  • BA/BS Degree with experience in financial services, including knowledge of industry dynamics, products, and platforms.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in process automation, API integration, or related technical roles.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate, SharePoint, and workflow mapping tools (e.g., Visio).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, authentication methods, and integration best practices.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as PowerBI or Tableau is a plus.
  • Experience with SQL queries a plus
