We currently have an opening for a Marketing Coordinator, to be based in El Segundo, California. The Marketing Coordinator will partner in the growth and implementation of the strategic marketing plans for the West Coast. This position reports to the Senior Director of Marketing and will support business development initiatives and manage programs and promotions to strengthen brand awareness, increase traffic, drive customer engagement and support the unique opportunities and challenges of a dynamic portfolio of assets.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of all aspects of marketing plans, budgets and sponsorship programs for assigned portfolio.
  • Manage the day-to-day social media responsibilities for assigned properties - creating content and maximizing engagement.
  • Manage entertainment programs and scheduling.
  • Assist in the execution of key signature events including logistics, budget management, advertising, post event analysis for each assigned property.
  • Provide on-site leadership for special events and work weekend / evening events as needed.
  • Implement effective marketing programs including, but not limited to, timely website updates , co-op advertising programs, institutional advertising campaigns, direct mail, supporting collateral, including posters, counter cards, etc.
  • Create work orders for special events.
  • Create monthly e-blast templates for participating centers and update database to promote assigned properties and their marketing programs.
  • Interact with merchants via phone, mail, e-mail, to provide marketing updates and increase event participation - work to create synergy between events and retailers.
  • Write and distribute merchant correspondence including newsletters, memos, and emails.
  • Perform administrative duties as needed including but not limited to invoice research, check request submission, special mailings, collateral and memo distribution and fielding telephone calls.
  • Track monthly marketing expenses and variances in assigned property budgets.
  • Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 2 - 4 years of marketing experience; event / retail marketing experience
  • College degree
  • Ability to effectively interact with internal and external team members and contacts
  • Must be creative thinker with strong decision making skills
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, organization and multi-task management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline oriented environment
  • Proficient in Outlook, MS Word and Excel
  • Flexibility and ability to work nights and weekends is required when marketing events require preparation or attendance
  • Ability to travel to San Jose office when necessary for events, meetings, etc. Not more than once a month

Salary Range: The typical total compensation range for this role is $70,000-$80,000 per year, inclusive of base salary and any applicable bonus. To ensure a fair and competitive offer, we take into account your job-related skills, experience, relevant trainings, and certifications.
