Overview

Edgewater is seeking a Business Analyst support our federal client in Washington, DC. The candidate will be working with a cross functional development team, and the positions will be performed onsite in Washington, DC 5 days a week without remote work options.

US citizenship is required and we are only considering candidates that live within a 50 mile radius of D.C.



Responsibilities

    Lead requirements gathering and business process documentation, coordinating with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to develop content.
  • Produce project documentation including business process models, requirements document, and user stories.
  • Prepare and edit technical guidance (e.g. policies and procedures), best practices, briefings, operations and maintenance manuals and documentation, as needed.
  • Produce and apply style guides and design guidelines to ensure a consistent presentation of information.
  • Proofread large technical documents for spelling, grammar, usage, textual errors, and appropriate tone.
  • Conduct technical research as needed to produce content.
  • Translate complex concepts into useable, audience-appropriate text and graphics.


Qualifications

  • US citizenship is required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and
  • 7 years of experience in Business Analysis This experience should include producing technical documentation for multiple platforms according to software development lifecycles (SDLCs), including DevOps, Agile, Lean, Iterative, or Waterfall.
  • Strong requirements elicitation skills,
  • Excellent understanding of content management principles and practices and have experience applying these principles and training others in content management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of Federal Reserve Board principles and practices
  • Understanding of the Federal Reserve Board's communications and content creation procedures
  • Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of the Federal Reserve Board's SharePoint content administration
  • Experience with Agile practices and tools including JIRA

Salary: $107,568 - $113,229
