Acute Charge Registered Nurse

The Acute Charge Registered Nurse must demonstrate familiarity with dialysis and hospital emergency procedures and the knowledge, skills, and judgement necessary to assume the responsibility of caring for the dialysis patient in the acute or post-acute care setting. This position exercises knowledge of patient rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all patients in a safe, secure environment. This individual cooperates and works together with all co-workers to plan and complete job duties with applicable supervisory direction, including exercising job-appropriate judgment.

• Registered Professional Nurse with current state licensure
• A minimum of 12 months of professional nursing experience, with at least 6 months of that time spent in dialysis.
• Meets state/licensing requirements
• Hemodialysis experience is strongly preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certified
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures
• Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues
• Proven leadership ability

Salary Range:

• $30 - $50 / hour depending on experience and qualifications
