Job Overview: FXI is seeking a Purchasing Analyst to support Procurement and Supply Chain operations by ensuring accurate flow, visibility, and availability of direct raw materials. This role focuses on inventory management, logistics coordination, delivery tracking, and SAP data integrity to ensure the right materials are accurately ordered and delivered on time. The position works cross-functionally with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support production, data accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives.





Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate material flow from suppliers to manufacturing locations to ensure on-time delivery and accurate inventory
  • Create, update, and maintain purchase orders in SAP, including price, quantity, and delivery date revisions
  • Record supplier order confirmations, shipments, receipts, and inventory transactions in SAP
  • Maintain accurate inventory, delivery requirements, and master data to support planning, purchasing, and production
  • Serve as a key point of contact between suppliers, logistics providers, and internal plant stakeholders to resolve delivery, quality, or documentation issues
  • Support plants with administrative and materials-related requests
  • Assist in resolving accounts payable discrepancies, pricing issues, and receiving variances
  • Track and support reporting for material usage, forecasts, spend, and savings initiatives
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to inventory accuracy, delivery performance, and process efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned



Education & Experience:



  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in supply chain, materials coordination, inventory management, logistics, or a related business environment
  • Experience working in an ERP system; SAP experience strongly preferred



Skills & Competencies:



  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of data accuracy
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI experience a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Comfortable interacting with suppliers and internal stakeholders at various levels
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
