Fuel your passion: The key responsibilities of the Materials Specialist at the Manufacturing Plant, is Customer Service and Order Management, includes the following tasks as well as other items required to execute the role. As Materials Specialist - Materials Planning and Execution, you will be responsible for:
  • Works with the Region Materials Planning Team to convert demand plans into Transfer Orders in the system SAP (I/STOs).
  • Works with the Region Materials Planning Team/Product Line/Sales/Service Delivery to prioritize delivery dates as needed (push outs, pull ins) and maintain I/STOs.
  • Plans and schedules Orders timelines to be consistent with customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costs
  • Recommends changes to Material Master and Stocking Strategy to reduce Orders processing and Material lead times.
  • Periodically reviews Open Order book, provides Order Status Updates and maintain ISTO/s scheduling dates.
  • Follow up with Production and Procurement stock out issues.
  • Creates Delivery Notes and Shipment when stock is available and coordinate the Shipping Process with Warehouse and Logistics.
  • Provides periodic Shipment updates to Customer.

  • Communication: Effective interaction with customers, sourcing, and logistics Teams.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Order Management Systems or software like SAP.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve order-related issues promptly.
  • Compliance & Data Accuracy: Ensuring all orders comply with company and international trade policies
  • Process Improvement: Analyzing order data to identify trends and improve efficiency, reducing errors in the fulfillment process.
  • Attention to Detail: Crucial for accurate order entry and tracking.
