Back Mechanical Assembler (1st shift 5:00am - 2:30pm) #25-562 Phoenix, Arizona, United States Apply X Facebook LinkedIn Email Copy Job Description As a Mechanical Assembler I, you will learn and perform a variety of tasks relating to production operations on a wide variety of state-of-the-art electronics. Job Responsibilities: Learn and become proficient in installing, assembling, and inspecting electronics per work instructions, job routers, and schematic drawings Interpreting job routers, written instructions, and schematic drawings for assembly of electronics Perform a variety of inspections with a focus on ensuring assemblies meet/exceed IPC standards Performing pass downs with outgoing/incoming shifts Using hand and/or power tools, and assembly palettes Apply material according to specifications and under simulated conditions Operate Production equipment such as conformal coat, plasma washer, oven, etc. Able to perform all tasks in the mechanical assembly operation: wash, bake, underfill, masking, curing, demasking and cleaning/touch up, and enhanced mechanical. Apply underfill and masking material according to specifications and under simulated conditions. Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: Typically requires 0-1 years of electronics assembly and/or inspection experience High School Diploma or GED Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet production and customer needs Must be able to lift and manipulate up to 25lbs for an extended period Must be detail oriented and able to multitask Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD-001 Good written and verbal communication skills Must have meticulous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures Desire to work overtime This position requires you to access information that is subject to U.S. export regulations.
