Position Summary

Perform all phases of plating, cleaning and wastewater pretreatment operation following standardized methods and procedures. Perform all duties necessary to the efficient operation of all equipment in the plating department.

Responsibilities

  • Continue to keep current in skills through training, classes and on the job training
  • Follow plating cycle and prescribed cleaning procedures to obtain proper finishes
  • Perform analyzing procedures with laboratory test equipment to maintain adequate solution levels to achieve proper plating, cleaning, and waste water pretreatment
  • Responsible for setting up and operating all machinery and equipment used to clean and plate products
  • Maintain records, charts, procedures, work move tickets, labor reporting, and S.P.C. recording
  • Be familiar with all systems, procedures, and plating techniques within the department
  • Perform all material handling within the department

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 - 5 years of plating experience
  • Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good math, reading and writing skills
  • Basic computer skills
