In this position you will provide safe and efficient execution, oversight, coordination, planning, development and administration of technical activities, and support and assist with day-to-day operations and pipeline maintenance related items throughout the region. What You Will Do:

  • Support the Supervisor and PLM team in interpreting and applying Enbridge engineering standards, state and federal regulations, industry codes, and recommended practices.

  • Collaborate continuously with Engineering to identify PLM needs, support operational requirements, and assist with the accurate scheduling and planning of maintenance projects.

  • Develop Open System Job Planning Templates, hydrotest plans, and other projectspecific documentation in partnership with Engineering and Operations.

  • Participate in-and when required, lead-design reviews, tiein coordination, outage scope development, outage sequencing, and alignment with operational constraints.

  • Act as the PLM Supervisor when delegated, providing leadership, oversight, and operational support to the team.

  • Develop, refine, and implement procedures and processes related to Pipeline Maintenance (PLM).

  • Estimate labor, equipment, and material needs for maintenance activities and project scopes.

  • Specify and procure materials, equipment, and tools required for regional operations.

  • Identify capital tool and equipment needs; develop supporting costbenefit analysis and recommendations.

  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, demonstrating strong awareness of operational interdependencies and opportunities for improvement.

  • Assist with or supervise emergency response activities as required.

  • Participate actively in regional safety programs, including safety meetings, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Support the Supervisor with the development and administration of SCNs and AFEs through all project phases, including budgeting, contracting, construction oversight, cost tracking, and reporting.

  • Perform daytoday regional operations activities aligned with the PLM role, including completing permits, FLHAs, utility crossing documentation, regulatory compliance tasks, and reviewing company standards and procedures.

  • Support U.S. Projects personnel and project managers on capital projects affecting the region.

  • Review and recommend changes to PLM and pipeline operations procedures to enhance safety, efficiency, and compliance.

  • Provide technical operations support on a variety of issues impacting pipeline integrity and system performance.

Who You Are:

  • You have a related university degree and six or more years of relevant experience OR eight or more years of field operations experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • You bring strong project management and logistical coordination skills.

  • You have proven abilities in contract administration, including budget oversight, contractor management, inspection coordination, and landowner interaction.

  • You can understand, interpret, and apply technical and engineering concepts, regulatory codes, and material standards.

Preferred

  • Strong knowledge of and commitment to corporate safety policies and safe work practices.

  • Mechanical and/or electrical proficiency with administrative capability in pipeline operations and maintenance environments.

Physical Requirements:

Include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 45 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.

Include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
