As a Air Charter/Specialized Operations Directorat RXO, your focus will be successfully managing client relationships, meeting or exceeding client expectations, and working to ensure effective operational solutions and service improvements.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Develop effective and efficient methods to meet customer needs; serve as the primary customer contact on all new initiatives and/or high-level critical issues
  • Drive operational efficiencies to improve service and financial performance
  • Conduct strategic account reviews with all assigned customers to assess service needs and usage trends on a regular basis
  • Execute individually assigned components of startup action plans
  • Participate in developing integration plans to support client and company initiatives
  • Direct, develop, mentor and lead operational teams both local and remote
  • Establish and meet site objectives in the areas of financial performance, safety, quality and customer service

What you'll need to excel:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • 7 years of logistics experience in North American air charter brokerage, airline operations, or expedited transportation
  • Experience in a managing remote and local teams
  • Experience performing complex analyses of data, processes, policies, procedures and/or systems

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management or Logistics
  • Travel a minimum of 30% of the time
  • Established relationships with asset-based air carriers and a proven ability to secure capacity in tight market conditions
  • Commercially minded approach with the ability to balance revenue growth, margin management, and operational execution
  • The capacity to take calculated risks and make strategic, results-oriented decisions while accepting responsibility for the results
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment with shifting priorities
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders
