Overview The Opportunity The Director of Scheduling will serve as the enterprise leader responsible for the full oversight, performance, and strategic direction of the Walbridge Scheduling Department across large-scale, manufacturing, mission-critical data center and general construction programs. This role provides executive-level leadership and accountability for scheduling operations companywide, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, project performance standards, contractual obligations, and financial targets. Reporting into senior leadership, this position plays a critical role in influencing operational strategy, supporting business growth, and driving enterprise-wide schedule governance. The Director of Scheduling will directly lead and manage a team of approximately 20-25 schedulers of varying experience levels located across multiple project sites and regions. This individual is responsible for building team capability, establishing standardized processes, ensuring resource alignment, and elevating the overall maturity of scheduling practices throughout the organization. This position requires a strategic leader who can operate confidently in executive settings while maintaining hands-on engagement to support project teams and resolve complex schedule challenges. Location This is a Headquarters-staffed position based in Metro Detroit. You will be required to work from our Headquarters in downtown Detroit and travel to project sites as needed. Travel to project sites, primarily in the Midwest and Southeast, is required. Responsibilities Your key responsibilities
