The SIOP sample analyst/material supply planner is a key contributor within the Sample SIOP team, responsible for developing accurate material level replenishment based on demand forecast from SIOP. This role ensures alignment across Sales, Product Management, and Operations through the SIOP process to support inventory productivity goals, improved service levels, and top line business performance. The ideal candidate for this role can demonstrate flexibility, innovation, and provide a proactive approach to problem solving with in the SIOP process.

Responsibilities:
*Create/analyze material replenishment strategies that align SIOP forecasts and inventory targets to support service initiatives through sample procurement while working with our sample vendors to ensure on time delivery.
*Develop/maintain processes and master data within MRP systems to support inventory targets and improve service through creation of new SAP material numbers for single samples as well as BOM creation for displays.
*Initiate quotes for new or updated sample skus combining vendor costs and material costs as well as maintaining standard costs withing the SAP system.
*Initiate and approve purchase requisitions generated through MRP based on approved forecast and safety stock levels.
*Manage vendor relationships and supply risks associated within our sample supply chain.
*Demonstrated ability to work between SIOP to solve operational or supply chain issues leveraging existing tools such as Power BI, Visual Forecast, and SAP.
*Communicate across multiple business units and partner with CS, manufacturing, distribution, and management to ensure on time delivery of product and project work.
*Partner with SIOP team to communicate demand shifts seen in the market to ensure more accurate forecast generation.
Requirements:
*2+ years of experience in supply planning or similar supply chain function.
*Excellent analytical,organizational, communication, and demonstrated leadership skills.
*Ability to work independently and function as a contributing team member.
*Proficiency in SAP (ECC/ S4 Hana) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), as well as experience in Salesforce.
*All other duties as assigned.
*Job location is in Dalton, GA.
