Human Resources Administrative Assistant


Department of Human Resources (DHR)


Hourly Pay Range: $21.30 - $31.92

What You'll Do



  • Serve as the first point of contact for DHR
  • Keep operations running smoothly by completing administrative tasks to include coordinating meetings, maintaining calendars, and organizing HR events, etc.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including processing paperwork and coordinating orientations
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and HR-related communications
  • Support labor relations and employee engagement, responsible for labor law postings and ERD team webpage
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in HR systems
  • Handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and integrity
  • Provide backup support to HR Analyst and administrative staff



What We're Looking For

  • A strong communicator who enjoys working with people
  • A team player who can manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Experience in administrative support, customer service, or human resources



Minimum Qualifications



  • Wisconsin resident with a valid Wisconsin Driver's License
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Two (2) or more years of administrative, HR, or customer service experience



Preferred but not required:



  • Associate degree or higher
  • Experience handling confidential or sensitive information
