About the Job

The position will edit technical reports and journal articles prior to submission to funders and other stakeholders. This position will also support NRRI Administrative staff as needed with NRRI Lobby staffing or specific administrative projects as assigned.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
(65%time) Prepare journal articles, technical reports, posters, grant proposals, and other materials:
* assist authors/PIs with writing summaries/narratives and make suggestions to improve content and readability;
* finalize materials for publication:
- read/review entire document, check for errors, consistency
- reconcile literature cited with list of references, conduct online search to locate missing references, check accuracy of
references
- research/review submission requirements for peer-reviewed publications, funding agencies/partners/stakeholders, etc
- format materials according to submission requirements, gather supporting materials (if applicable), and submit materials
(University Digital Conservancy, journals, agencies, etc)
- add publication to reports archives, distribute as needed.

(25%time) Design of forms/templates/brochures and other presentation-type materials (Adobe CS [InDesign,
Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc]). Work with NRRI teams to design forms and te

(10%time) Staff NRRI Lobby as need and specific administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
BA/BS plus two years of experience or a combination of education and work experience to equal at least 6 years.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with editing publications.
Previous experience with Design of forms, templates, and other materials

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $30.00 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
