What You'll Do as a Utility Worker:

As a Utility Worker, you'll help maintain the yard, facility, and equipment to support safe and efficient operations at the Hempstead Branch.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform job duties safely and accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain a clean and organized equipment yard
• Perform general building repairs and facility upkeep
• Support maintenance and landscaping tasks
• Operate forklifts and heavy equipment to move and stage materials
• Maintain gate logs and scan new and used equipment
• Run errands and assist with branch support tasks as needed
• Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with material handling and load movement
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work outdoors in non-climate-controlled environments and all weather conditions
• Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment
• Strong customer service skills
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
