Facilities Maintenance Supervisor oversees the daily operations, repairs, and maintenance of all buildings and grounds, ensuring they are safe, functional, and compliant. This role also acts as a middle manager, leading teams of technicians and coordinating with external contractors.

Responsibilities:

  • Train, schedule, and evaluate maintenance staff (technicians, janitorial, and groundkeepers).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to address, and ideally prevent, maintenance issues.
  • Regularly inspect facilities, equipment, and grounds to identify issues and required actions, oversee repairs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and ensure completed work meets company standards.
  • Track maintenance expenditures, manage inventory for tools, supplies, and equipment.
  • Utilize the Facility Maintenance System (FMS) to track, prioritize, and close out work orders.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' experience in a related field (building maintenance or skilled trade). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a bachelor's degree in and 3 years' experience in a related field; a master's degree and 1 year of experience; or a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly with senior management, staff members and contractors.
  • Ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions such as snow and heat.
  • Flexibility with schedule, including on-call duties for emergencies, weekends and holidays.


USD 67,100.00 - 100,700.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $67,100.00 - $100,700.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
