Our client is looking for a Senior Manager, Compensation to join their team!

This is a 9 month long, full-time (40 hrs/week) contract assignment that will require a Tues-Thurs hybrid scheduled in Los Gatos, CA.

Responsibilities:




  • Serve as a strategic compensation partner to senior leaders across Engineering, Product, and Games, shaping forward-thinking pay strategies that enable innovation, growth, and competitive advantage on a global scale.



  • Lead the design and execution of complex compensation initiatives that support evolving business priorities, ensuring alignment with market dynamics and long-term organizational strategy.



  • Translate sophisticated market intelligence and workforce analytics into compelling insights that influence executive decision-making and reinforce a top-of-market compensation philosophy.



  • Develop advanced modeling and data-driven frameworks to assess market movement, identify gaps, and craft creative, business-aligned solutions to attract and retain exceptional talent.



  • Collaborate with HR, Operations, and Technology teams to build scalable dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools that increase transparency and empower leaders with actionable compensation data.



  • Drive the evolution of global compensation programs-including pay equity analyses, compensation cycles, job architecture, and workforce planning-ensuring rigor, fairness, and strategic clarity.



  • Provide thought leadership and mentorship within the compensation function, elevating team capability and fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.




Requirements:




  • 10+ years of progressive compensation experience within a fast-paced, global organization, ideally supporting content, creative, technology, or entertainment-focused business units. Start up experience is also a plus.



  • Demonstrated expertise in compensation design, market pricing, executive advisory, and advanced financial modeling; deep proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets required.



  • Proven ability to influence and advise senior leaders and HR partners, translating complex data into strategic guidance that drives business outcomes.



  • Strong strategic orientation with comfort navigating ambiguity, evolving priorities, and high-growth environments; exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills required.




The pay for this W-2 position is $145.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
