YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a Senior IT Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership for the IT function in our Boston office. In this role, you will ensure the delivery of reliable IT

services, oversee local infrastructure, and lead a high-performing team. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities.

In your daily job you will:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and direction for the local IT team
  • Set priorities, delegate tasks, and ensure accountability for deliverable
  • Oversee the Tech Bar to ensure high-quality, in-person support.
  • Collaborate with Workplace Tech leadership to align with organizational goals
  • Own and manage all local IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and
  • Oversee proactive maintenance and upgrades to minimize downtime and operational
  • Implement best practices for disaster recovery and business continuity
  • Ensure timely resolution of IT issues and act as the escalation point for critical
  • Manage device lifecycle, AV/VC support, and meeting room standards
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics for IT operations
  • Act as the primary IT contact for local leadership and Executive Assistants
  • Understand business needs and align IT services to support organizational goals
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to set expectations and provide updates
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks related to IT systems and processes
  • Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies, security standards, and regulatory
  • Contribute to IT strategy and roadmap development
  • Assess emerging technologies and recommend solutions to support future growth

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of managing IT operations in a multi-site or regional environment
  • Skilled in coordinating and leading IT local infrastructure upgrades and migrations
  • Knowledge of ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks
  • Exceptional people management, coaching, and team-building capabilities
  • Extensive experience working at C-level and with Executive Assistants
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, simple language for nontechnical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in MDM solutions (JAMF, Microsoft Intune and zero-touch deployment)
  • Familiar with SaaS platforms, SSO and cloud migration strategies
  • Skilled in troubleshooting across Windows, macOS and iOS environments, mobile devices
  • Knowledge in Entra ID and Active Directory
  • Have solid experience with software deployment, patching and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN)

Preferred Certifications ITIL Foundation or higher

  • ITIL Foundation certification (or higher)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project management certifications
  • Relevant technical certifications, such as Microsoft Certified, Cisco CCNP, or Apple Support Professional

Boston:

Salary Range: $177,500 k-$220K
