About the Role

Culmen is seeking a seasoned Acquisition Analyst to support a DOD Space Force program located on a customer site in Washington, DC.



What You'll Do in Your New Role

The Acquisition Logistics Analyst will provide high-level Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) to the United States Space Force (USSF) Mission Support Directorate (S4O). This role is critical in assisting the government with the development, analysis, and implementation of complex acquisition and sustainment documentation processes to ensure mission readiness for Space Force missions and systems.



Required Qualifications

    Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to Obtain a Common Access Card (CAC): Candidates must be capable of obtaining a CAC for both logical access to DoD computer networks and physical access to the Pentagon and other facilities.
  • Knowledge of DoD Processes: Demonstrated understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) logistics processes, guidance, and regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with external oversight directions, specifically from Congress and the Government Accountability Office (GAO).
  • Functional Expertise: Ability to perform logistics functional analysis and develop implementation plans to support the Mission Support Directorate (S4O).
  • Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) Experience: Experience providing high-level technical and management support in a government environment.
  • Clearance Level: Active Secret clearance; Top Secret preferred.


Desired Qualifications

  • Strategic Liaison Experience: Previous experience interfacing with high-level Air Force and Space Force leadership, including Air Force Major Commands (MAJCOMs) and Garrison Commanders.
  • Space Force/Air Force Familiarity: Specific knowledge of U.S. Space Force (USSF) missions, systems, and their intersection with Air Force enterprise support for civil engineering and force protection.
