We are seeking a Maintenance Material Coordinator to support our Maintenance & Reliability organization by ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient management of maintenance materials, kits, forecasting, and part returns. This role is essential in enabling safe, reliable, and costeffective manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, safetyfocused, and capable of partnering with cross-functional teams to support planning, scheduling, storeroom operations, and continuous improvement.

Our Team

The Darlington Dixie plant has been in operation for nearly 85 years and is one of the largest employers in Darlington County. Owned by Georgia-Pacific, the site boasts more than 450 employees and produces plates, bowls, and other tableware products. Affectionately known as "Dixie Cup" by many in Darlington - the plant shifted its focus to exclusively making plates and bowls in 2020 as part of a $145 million facility upgrade and expansion project. For nearly a century, we've created products that make lives easier. From the first disposable paper cup to our strong and stylish modern plates, the history of Dixie is one of bringing people together.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and promote a strong safety-first culture, contributing to zero SIFs and zero Process Safety Level II/III incidents.
  • Apply and champion the company's Decision-Making Framework (DMF) to foster a businessminded approach throughout the mill.
  • Monitor storeroom forecasting reports for parts associated with planned weekly jobs 4-6 weeks out, prioritized by REV code.
  • Collaborate with the Centralized Buying team to mitigate procurement risks, including items requiring purchase orders.
  • Confirm availability and accuracy of part and material kits for planned and scheduled work, ensuring proper delivery to approved drop zones.
  • Ensure unused parts and cores are physically returned to designated areas, including for both weekly maintenance work and outages.
  • Track and coordinate onsite and offsite repair/refurbishment of critical components, ensuring timely return to the appropriate drop zone.
  • Utilize Maintenance Work Process dashboards/reports to identify improvement opportunities and drive gap closure.
  • Apply maintenance experience and judgment when supporting material setup and staging decisions.
  • Ensure timely, accurate delivery of kits and return of cores/unused materials.
  • Support efforts to eliminate OffBook Inventory (OBI).

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in maintenance, reliability, supply chain, or storeroom operations.
  • Proficiency with maintenance planning tools and ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Recent experience working in SAP as a Maintenance Planner or MRO / Stores professional.
  • Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing facility.
