We are seeking a highimpact Services Overlay Sales Representative to partner with the Relias Sales organization to accelerate services revenue across all segments. This role acts as a subject matter expert for all Relias service offerings, supporting account executives during discovery, qualification, scoping, and closing of new and expansion services opportunities. The ideal candidate brings deep experience selling complex services packages in a SaaS environment, strong business acumen, and a consultative, customerfocused mindset. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Services Expertise & Positioning
- Maintain deep expertise in the full Relias services portfolio, including consulting, implementation, workflow optimization, clinical and operational advisory services, analytics services, and managed support.
- Clearly articulate how Relias services address operational, clinical, compliance, and workforce challenges within the healthcare ecosystem.
- Translate client challenges into specific recommendations aligned with measurable outcomes.
Sales Partnership & Support
- Partner with Relias account executives across assigned territories to qualify and scope services opportunities.
- Lead servicesspecific discovery calls, needs assessments, and value discussions with prospects and clients.
- Participate in deal strategy sessions, helping teams position services in new logo and expansion opportunities.
- Support the creation of proposals, SOWs, pricing structures, and solution packages.
ClientFacing Engagement
- Present service solutions to Csuite, VP, and operational leaders in healthcare organizations.
- Provide consultative guidance to ensure clients understand services value, delivery approach, and expected outcomes.
- Serve as the trusted services advisor during more complex or competitive sales cycles.
CrossFunctional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Professional Services, Implementation, Product, Customer Success, and Sales Engineering to ensure accurate scoping, handoff, and delivery readiness.
- Serve as an internal voice of the customer by sharing field insights that inform service offering enhancements and market expansion opportunities.
Market & Industry Insight
- Stay current on healthcare industry trends across postacute, acute, behavioral health, payor, MCO, and IDN segments.
- Leverage market knowledge to educate Sales teams and clients on how Relias services align with emerging needs, regulatory pressures, and workforce challenges.
- Represent Relias at industry events, conferences, and webinars.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support development of new service bundles, GTM strategies, and collateral.
- Assist Sales leadership with forecasting and pipeline prioritization for services opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.
YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
- 8+ years of experience in services sales, services overlay roles, consulting sales, or solution consulting within a SaaS or healthcarefocused company.
- 5+ years of experience selling into healthcare organizations (health systems, payors, behavioral health, postacute, etc.).
- Proven track record supporting complex enterprise sales cycles and presenting to senior executives.
- Experience scoping and pricing consulting or professional services engagements.
- Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, quality improvement, workforce development, or performance analytics.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations and workforce challenges across postacute, acute, IDN, payor, and communitybased organizations.
- Proven ability to sell or consult on complex services packages (implementation, advisory, analytics, managed services, consulting programs).
- Ability to translate operational or clinical challenges into actionable services recommendations.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills with a consultative approach.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in crossfunctional teams.
- Experience with SaaS environments, including general knowledge of integrations, APIs, SSO, and data workflows.
- Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced, metricsdriven environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
IT WOULD BE A BONUS IF YOU HAD:
- Prior experience in a professional services delivery or consulting role.
- Experience with elearning, workforce development, or performance improvement programs.
- Experience working with or analyzing clinical or quality improvement data.
Education Required (Minimum required)
- Bachelor's degree required.
IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT: Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities. Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters approximately 40 days/quarter.
