We are looking for a Automotive Operations Regional Director, who will be responsible for the overall performance of the fleet services function with respect to the servicing, vehicle damage repair and in-fleeting/de-fleeting of rental vehicles to maximize fleet utilization and profitability across a wide geographic region. We are looking for a proven leader with operational excellence who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a passionate team to ensure our customers are always in a safe vehicle. What You'll Do:Operational Leadership: Oversee multiple locations across the region, ensuring consistent service standards and operational efficiency across all sites. As a manager of managers, empower and mentor your direct reports to create a high-performing culture throughout the region. Fleet Operations: Direct and control all fleet operations, including maintenance, repair, and reconditioning of vehicles. Oversee in-fleeting of new/used vehicles into the rental fleet and de-fleeting vehicles for sale, auction, or other alternative channels. Manage key verticals such as:
P&L and Financial Management: Own and optimize the P&L for the fleet services function across a wide geographic region. Forecast, budget, and manage key financial drivers, including labor costs, warranty recovery, and cost per estimate and deletion. Strategic Leadership: Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies. Develop, implement, and communicate operating plans to maximize fleet utilization and meet business objectives. Performance Management: Set, communicate, monitor, and update goals for key performance indicators (KPIs) on a regular basis. This includes technician productivity, vehicle out-of-service rates, overdue idle cars, vendor cycle time, days to deletion, and venue quality average grades. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with key fleet, field operations, and other leaders to align on business goals and drive collective success across functions. Employee Lifecycle Management: Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from development and motivation to recognition, evaluation, and performance management. The annual starting salary for this position is between $105,100 - $150,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
