Title: Operational Technology (OT) Engineer Focus: The Operational Technology (OT) Engineer ensures the reliability, security, and optimal performance of the process control network supporting the Distributed Control System (DCS) across a large, integrated manufacturing site. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing network infrastructure and control system connectivity to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient plant operations. The OT Specialist/Engineer acts as a technical resource for diagnosing complex issues, implementing preventive measures, and collaborating with engineering, operations, and IT teams to coordinate efforts across the Texas Operations site. The Operational Technology Specialist/Engineer provides troubleshooting and maintenance support of process control networks, plans and executes tasks associated with process control hardware and collaborates with multiple site units to improve the systems' performance and safety. The Freeport site is the single largest chlor alkali complex in the world with more than 1,000 employees. The chemical products produced at our Freeport location include chlorine and caustic soda, vinyls, epoxies, chlorinated organics, aromatics, bleach, hydrogen, and hydrochloric acid.
