Summary: Assist in managing the activities of workers engaged in duties concerned with sanitation tasks by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned.


  • Supervise sanitation personnel to ensure all returning flight equipment is cleaned and returned to the proper staging areas.
  • Communicate with the shift and all internal departments to ensure required equipment is delivered on time as requested.
  • Schedules shift personnel following the proper bidding procedures.
  • Ensure for the proper safe and clean operation of all operational machinery.
  • Responsible for quality control of shift.
  • Works in safe manner to prevent accidents to self and coworkers.
  • Stresses safe working procedures to all employees daily.
  • Immediately investigates, documents, and reports all on the job accidents following company safety procedures.
  • Produce required shift reports /documentation/etc
  • Communicate all related matters to shift personnel with daily briefings.
  • Must attend all company provided management training.

Qualifications:

  • Previous management experience.


  • "Safety intelligent"



Education/Experience:

Associate's Degree (A. A.) from two-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to speak effectively before employees of organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word Processing software, Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software and email.

Certificates and Licenses:

-Food Sanitation Certification a plus

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises sanitation employees in the Sanitation Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
