Responsibilities NV5 is seeking a full-time Project Historians for our Alpharetta, GA office to assist with historic architectural surveys and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities of the position(s) will include surveying and documenting historic buildings and structures in the field, writing architectural descriptions, conducting background research, and developing historical contexts. The Project Historian reports to the Cultural Resources Group Manager. The most frequent and essential work activities include: Deployments to conduct architectural surveys in urban and rural environments.
Conduct fieldwork and survey of historic built resources, including field assessments, background research, and photography.
