Schedule: Monday through Friday, with weekend work as needed

Focus: Daily processing and reporting of accurate shipping documentation and knowledge of compliance regulations within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Shipping Services Coordinator Essential Functions:

• Utilize the Enterprise Resource Planning system (SAP) and WMS to prepare daily reporting.
• Account for trailer activity for both incoming trailers and outgoing trailers.
• Review the packing list and bill of lading for accuracy against the warehouse group leader order checklist. Ensure carriers get the proper documents, labels, and explosive placards when required for a shipment. Sign/ verify compliance with all HazMat regulations.
• Verify all special shipping instructions are followed. Check paperwork for special instructions and communicate with warehouse personnel to ensure instructions have been completed.
• Communicate and interact effectively with all contacts to accomplish tasks and responsibilities.
• Verify that the information on the bill of lading and packing list is correct and that the originals and copies are distributed properly. Ensure the HM-bills are prepared and logged sequentially.
• Ensure shipping documents for loaded trailers are taken to Gate 4A at the end of the shift and picked up the following morning.
• Calculate and prepare various warehouse and shipping reports for monthly management highlights.
• Type IFRO's and calculate and create bills of lading for packaging contractors and goods moved to other warehouses.

Shipping Services Coordinator Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of shipping related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word; SAP and Warehouse Management System experience preferred.
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to work well with minimum supervision.
• Must possess excellent communication, math, problem-solving, and organization skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume workload, shift demands, and willingness to be collaborative and support team efforts.
• Ability to work overtime through the week and weekends, as needed.

Location-Specific Requirements:

• This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
• This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
