About our group:

The wafer manufacturing department has responsibility for staffing and improving operations in the wafer factory. This enables Seagate's strategy of delivering ever larger capacity storage, including next generation MOZAIC drives to our customers. About the role - you will:

  • Ability to perform repairs and preventive maintenance (PM) on racks, wands, carts, tables, and other toolset accessories within a cleanroom environment, ensuring compliance with safety and contamination control standards.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of purchase requisitions, verifying details and compliance with procurement policies.
  • Work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions
  • Determine methods and procedures on new assignments
  • Provide guidance to other non-exempt personnel.
  • Be a skilled specialist, completes tasks in creative and effective ways
  • Demonstrates reliability, strong work ethic, and a collaborative team approach while maintaining excellent communication skills.
  • Excels in troubleshooting and problem-solving with creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Demonstrates self-motivation and accountability by effectively managing tasks and priorities with minimal supervision, ensuring timely and high-quality results.

About you:

  • Must be able to work DAYS14 Shift: 10 hours days, Thursday to Sunday.
  • Must be able to wear cleanroom attire and strictly adhere to cleanroom protocols to maintain contamination control and product integrity.

Your experience includes:

  • Post-secondary education is required.
  • Experience with MS Office.
  • Preferred experience with Software and Hardware.
  • Related experience in the field.
  • Preferred experience with Solidworks or 3D modeling software.



The estimated base wage range for this position is $26.44 - $37.82/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
