As a Field Decommission Technician, you'll be on the front lines of safely dismantling, removing, and processing electrical equipment at customer sites across the country. This hands-on role is ideal for mechanically skilled professionals who thrive in the field, value safety, and take pride in performing essential work that supports regulatory compliance and environmental stewardship.

What You'll Do


  • Dismantle and remove equipment, materials, and infrastructure from operational sites using hand tools, pneumatic tools, plasma cutters, and AO equipment.
  • Operate heavy machinery-including excavators and telehandlers-safely and efficiently.
  • Work in demanding environments and extended shifts while maintaining professionalism and productivity.
  • Follow all safety and environmental procedures, including spill-containment protocols and incident reporting.
  • Complete assigned work orders and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Travel up to 80% of the time, including frequent overnights.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license (CDL preferred).
  • Strong mechanical background with experience working under deadlines.
  • Ability to operate or learn excavators, telehandlers, and similar equipment.
  • Proficiency with hand, electric, and pneumatic tools; torch/rigging experience helpful.
  • Physical ability to perform strenuous labor and work in varied environmental conditions.
  • Commitment to strict safety and environmental compliance.
