Description
Coakley & Williams is currently seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead complex preconstruction and estimating efforts for commercial construction projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million. This role is ideal for a construction professional who understands how to win work, build trusted client relationships, lead design-build pursuits, and guide teams through the full preconstruction process. As a Senior Preconstruction Manager, you will play a key role in securing profitable new work by leading bid strategy, managing risk, developing estimates and scopes of work, and presenting solutions to owners, architects, engineers, construction managers, and subcontractors. You will also mentor members of the Preconstruction team and help improve department processes that support quality, consistency, and productivity. This position requires strong technical estimating experience, client-facing communication skills, knowledge of construction trades, and the ability to lead preconstruction efforts from early pursuit through bid review and negotiation. Wage Transparency In accordance with the Maryland Wage Transparency L aw, the base salary range for this position is: $130,000.00 - $180,000.00 Coakley & Williams Construction offers a comprehensive total compensation and benefits package that includes health, dental and vision coverage, employer-matched 401(k), paid time off and holidays, performance-based bonuses, wellness program, and other voluntary benefits and leave types. The determination of salary is based on the candidate's individual professional experience, qualifications, education, skills, and training. Job Demands Individuals should be able to reach above and below, stoop and bend, sit, walk, and stand. Individuals should also be able to lift, carry and/or moving items up to 50lbs. May be exposed to heavy machinery/equipment, hazardous chemicals and extreme weather conditions. Minimum of 40 hours per week required. Works hours will vary depending on project specifications and may involve weekends and night work.
