Thermal Engineering R&D Intern

Description:

Join our R&V team to support thermal design and simulation efforts for advanced semiconductor packaging test platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and tuning of basic control algorithms (e.g., PID) for thermal systems such as heaters, chillers, and twophase cooling loops.
• Support creation and modification of simulation models for thermal system behavior using tools like MATLAB/Simulink or Python.
• Help explore the application of advanced techniques-such as datadriven or MLbased control concepts-under guidance from senior engineers.
• Conduct experiments, collect data, and help validate control system performance on hardware platforms.
• Work with crossfunctional engineering teams to integrate control features into larger system architectures.
• Analyze test data to identify trends, performance issues, and opportunities for control optimization.
• Contribute to earlystage development of digital twins or predictive maintenance concepts by assisting with model training, data cleanup, or feature extraction.
