Career Opportunity Business Development Manager III Location: Hybrid within FL or OH Your role in our success: The Business Development Manager, III (BDM III) is an experienced, strategic-level leader responsible for complex, high-value opportunities and contributing to the overall business strategy. This role involves identifying and securing major strategic partnerships, penetrating new markets, and providing support to the BDM roles I & II to deliver customized solutions. The BDM III drives significant revenue growth, serves as a resource to the BD team, and influences the company's go-to-market strategy based on market feedback and deep industry expertise. What you'll be working on:
- Identify and secure major strategic partnerships that align with long-term business objectives.
- Lead market penetration efforts in new regions or segments to expand the company's footprint.
- Develop and execute strategies for complex, high-value opportunities, ensuring alignment with
corporate goals. - Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to the business development team, providing guidance on
best practices and deal structuring. - Influence go-to-market strategy by analyzing market feedback, regulatory changes, and industry trends.
- Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, legal, regulatory, corporate development) to deliver tailored
solutions for strategic clients. - Represent the company at high-profile industry events, conferences, and forums to strengthen brand
presence and build executive-level relationships. - Prepare and present strategic business cases and investment proposals to executive leadership and the
board.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Engineering, or related field (MBA
preferred) - 8 years of experience in business development, commercial strategy, or sales
within the energy sector. Experience in the Natural Gas Industry required. - Valid Driver's License.
