LMI is seeking a Project Scheduler to support the United States Postal Service (USPS). The Project Scheduler will be part of an LMI Program Management Office overseeing a team responsible for updating USPS policies and process documentation.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

    Support PM and multiple project leads as they oversee the execution of policy update initiatives
  • Create and maintain project schedule through MS Project
  • Monitor progress against the schedule and adjust as necessary to accommodate changes or delays.
  • Develop executive level schedule metrics, management reports and project dashboards
  • Identify and analyze the critical path; advise the PM regarding alternative logic paths and other potential work-arounds.
  • Perform schedule analysis of progress against the baseline plan; update the baseline schedule if necessary
  • Perform "what if" scenarios within the schedules, notably for scope changes, and unforeseen events
  • Attend program/project meetings to discuss and review schedules and status of projects against their milestones.
  • Meet regularly with the individual project leads to ensure schedule accuracy and clarify schedule issues
  • Maintain reporting cadence through mastery of integration of multiple data sources


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
  • Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, finance, or information management
  • 7-10 years of experience in Scheduling.
  • Proficiency and expertise in Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively solve complex problems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
Desired Skills
  • Master's degree or higher in a related discipline
  • 5+ years consulting experience
  • S. Postal Service experience preferred
  • Professional certification in a relevant field such as a Project Management Professional (PMP).

Target salary range: $100,000-$140,000
