What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor for unusual activity or potential security-related concerns, and report findings according to established protocols.
• Interact with visitors, staff, and/or contractors in a courteous manner while verifying identification and access as required.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearms and other security-related equipment in accordance with company and site-specific guidelines.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident and/or shift reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Participate in ongoing training and drills to maintain readiness for emergency response situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
