As a Security Guard - Armed Campus Patrol in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and professionalism will contribute to creating a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service. This armed position requires an active guard card/license and offers the opportunity to represent our agile, reliable, and innovative team, where people always come first and integrity guides every action.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the government location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other areas as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive or criminal activity.
• Complete detailed reports of incidents, observations, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders as needed during incidents.
• Operate and maintain assigned security-related equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company and site protocols.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols for armed security professionals.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
