As a Security Officer - Armed Bank Security in Saint Johns, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible at a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate at the financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and observe for unusual or suspicious activity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while performing security-related duties.
• Assist law enforcement and emergency personnel when requested and in accordance with site procedures.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
