About the role Position Description: The Environmental Technician will be responsible for supporting regulatory compliance and implementing and maintaining environmental management systems and programs for air, solid waste and water regulatory requirements, under direction of the facility's Environmental Manager. Work Location Requirement:
The selected candidate will be required to work on site daily at our Bristol, CT facility located at Reworld Bristol, 170 Enterprise Dr, Bristol, CT 06010, United States. Responsibilities:
Position Requirements: The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of related experience, to include knowledge of applicable government regulations, or a bachelor's degree in a related field. Knowledge of air quality regulations, Title V permitting, emissions reporting, and federal/state/local air emissions is desired. The individual must have strong written and oral communication skills, an ability to work cooperatively within the regulatory framework, and strong computer skills including proficiency with MS Office applications. Must be able to work in all locations within the plant, under extremes of hot and cold, and in areas of dust,noiseand wet conditions. Must be able towear a respirator,climb a ladder to access equipment and work from heights using fall protection,lift heavy objects and other manual labor to includingpushing, pulling,sweeping,and shoveling.Reworld is a smoke free worksite. In addition to salary, this roleis eligible for benefits. Pay Transparency Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld's reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future. The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $66,000.00 - $87,900.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary.
