Summer Industrial Engineering Internship (June 1 - August 7) - $19.50/hr Summer Logistics Internship (June 1 - August 7) - $19.50/hr Quest Diagnostics is seeking a highly motivated Industrial Engineering Intern to support automation and operations initiatives within our automated medical testing laboratory. This internship is focused on building a high-level simulation model of laboratory operations to identify bottlenecks, evaluate capacity, and test operational scenarios without disrupting live production. This role provides hands-on experience in a high volume, highly automated clinical laboratory environment. The intern will report directly to the Lead Industrial Engineer within the Lab Operations Department to develop a discrete event simulation model incorporating instruments, buffers, automation track logic, and routing rules.
