Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver in Commercial Point, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service. You will remain visible throughout the property, assisting visitors and responding to situations as needed. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or hazards within the location to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any concerns to management and/or law enforcement as directed.
• Work collaboratively with store staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs and concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
