As a Security Guard - Armed Government Patrol Driver in Kissimmee, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a government facility, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. This post requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will interact with visitors and staff, deliver exceptional customer service, and uphold our values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability while contributing to a secure environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related breaches in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents within the location.
  • Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public while upholding site-specific rules and regulations.
  • Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on all security-related activities, incidents, and/or observations during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
