Job Summary
The Extrusion Operator - Night Shift is responsible for operating extrusion production lines in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused manner in accordance with established standard operating procedures. This role supports overnight production and requires strong attention to detail, independence, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Operate extrusion production lines safely and according to established procedures
* Secure and maintain materials and supplies required for production
* Monitor equipment and feed alarms and respond to issues as they arise
* Perform routine equipment checks and complete required documentation
* Stack, label, band, and prepare finished product according to standards
* Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality specifications are met
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
* Communicate production, quality, and maintenance issues during shift handoffs
* Perform random quality checks and verify measurements, color, and specifications
* Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives during night operations
* Assist in training and mentoring Extrusion Operator Trainees as needed
* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
* Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
* Basic math skills required
* Ability to pass extrusion operator aptitude and quality assurance testing
* Must be at least 18 years of age

Skills & Abilities
* Ability to work safely and independently during night operations
* Ability to recognize material quality and identify defects
* Ability to perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
* Ability to use hand tools and measuring devices such as tape measures
* Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
* Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
* Good hand-eye coordination
* Ability to work assigned night shift hours, including weekends if required
* Ability to pass a drug test

Compensation & Benefit Information
Salary Pay Range:$18.00-$25.00 per hour dependent on experience*
*pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living

Bonus/Incentive Pay:

A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
