Quality Assurance Engineer

The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the site's product realization processes set and exceed the standard of world-class performance for quality, cost, and delivery, so that Edwards can, in turn, provide a world-class product to the semiconductor industry, each time, every time.

  • Ensures compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 through implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of documentation, calibration systems, nonconforming product controls, and internal audits.
  • Reviews designs, specifications, and manufacturing processes to ensure capability, compliance, and quality; provides feedback to support operational success.
  • Analyzes nonconformance and performance data (e.g., incoming inspection, CAPAs, FOIs, MQIs, OTD) to identify trends and risks; reports quality metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Audits and improves internal processes and validations to ensure product realization meets Edwards requirements and delivers compliant, on-time components.
  • Leads 8D corrective and preventive actions with process owners and SMEs, ensuring effective root cause analysis, containment, implementation, and verification.
  • Performs final and in-process inspections in Assembly and Warehousing to verify compliance and product conformance.
  • Defines inspection and audit plans based on risk, part/process criticality, and effectiveness of internal and supplier controls.
  • Acts as Lead Internal Auditor for Quality, Environmental, and Safety Management Systems; establishes cross-functional communication of quality performance.
  • Complies with safety and OSHA requirements; maintains reliable attendance, teamwork, and other assigned duties.

Salary: $87,400 - $98,000/yr

This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Saugerties, NY. You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.
