Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Allied Universal Security Officer, you will help to deter security-related incidents and manage access control at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Assist with the implementation of Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific policies to help maintain order and protect property.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with access-related inquiries and guidance.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual conditions.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations and/or other site-specific emergency procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
