As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution setting, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in managing entry and exit points, supporting a secure environment, and contributing to the smooth operations of the location. This position requires a valid driver's license and may involve driving responsibilities as part of your duties.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related protocols.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, following site-specific procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel with access-related inquiries.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or suspicious activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and identify any irregularities.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns at the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
