INVENTORY CLERK 2ND SHIFT CARROLLTON DC

Summary:

• TheInventory Clerk willensurethe accurateinventory quantities and locations in the dry or freezer warehouse. This positionwilloperatea Standup Forklift, and Cherry Picker lift to accurately cycle count physical inventory against the inventory tracking system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Completescycle counts and corrects inventory when needed

• Communicates inventory errors to the Warehouse Supervisor

• Helpsmanagement team troubleshoot inventory discrepancies

• Assistswith periodic physical inventory audits

• Operates forkliftswhen necessary

• Helpsimprove upon inventory management procedures

• Cross trainsand helpsin receiving as needed

Additional Responsibilities:

• Acquiresknowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activitiesin accordance withtraining and procedures/work instructions.

• Notifiesdesignated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented,in accordance withEnvironmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.

• All other duties as assigned

MinimumQualifications:

• A minimumof 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.

• A minimum of 1 year of experienceoperatinga standup forklift.

• HS Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.

• 3 years of experience as an Inventory Clerk.

• 1 year of experience with an ERP or WMS system.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
