POSITION OVERVIEW:
Provide assistance to Legal staff in carrying out corporate legal mandates; Assure day to day flow of documents and information in support of in-house attorneys and outside counsel; Develop and administer control systems and procedures for corporate use in monitoring legal activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Ability to interact with all levels of leadership across FedEx Freight enterprise
* Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including but not limited to; Word, Excel, and Outlook

Paralegal I
* Paralegal Degree or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution from the applicable state; or at least three years of relevant work experience can be substituted for this requirement if the candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or area of study
* Working knowledge of Legal process and systems
* Excellent research and writing skills, strong organizational, collaboration, communication and computer skills.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines

Paralegal II
* Paralegal Degree or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution from the applicable state; or at least three years of relevant work experience can be substituted for this requirement if the candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or area of study
* Five (5) years paralegal experience in a relevant discipline
* Comprehensive knowledge of Legal process and systems
* Excellent research and writing skills, strong organizational, collaboration, communication and computer skills
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines

Paralegal III
* Paralegal Degree or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution from the applicable state; or at least three years of relevant work experience can be substituted for this requirement if the candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or area of study
* Bachelor's or Associates degree preferred
* Ten (10) years paralegal experience to include three (3) years of Paralegal experience at a FedEx operating company and five (5) years of demonstrated subject matter expertise in specialized area of the law
* Comprehensive knowledge of Legal process and systems
* Advanced research and writing skills, strong organizational, collaboration, communication and computer skills
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines

WORKING CONDITIONS:
* Travel may be required
* Work hours may vary due to organizational need
