Your Role:

The Biopharma Account Manager builds and maintains key relationships with customers. This role applies understanding of customer organizations, needs, and networks to integrate Miltenyi's innovative product workflows into the customer's research, translational projects, and clinical applications. The Biopharma Account Manager must respond to customer needs while making use of all available technologies and channels to support the sales team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Builds and maintains relationships with Key Biopharma accounts, liaising with our Global Key Account team to provide a seamless bridge between customers, the Miltenyi Biotec US organization, and the relevant Global Key Account managers.
  • Visits clients with Clinical and Research account manager peers to identify accounts that may represent future Key Account customers.
  • Identifies, investigates, and develops new business opportunities and alliances within the private/biopharma sector by mapping the entire customer ecosystem and identifying key stakeholders.
  • Maintains an up-to-date knowledge base of Miltenyi's technology, products, markets, competitors, and customer buying practices.
  • meet and exceed sales targets and deliver strategically aligned growth.
  • Meets and exceeds sales targets and delivers strategically aligned growth based on excellent business planning and developing and executing a high-impact sales strategy.
  • Reports on account progress against forecasts and account goals.
  • Plans and executes effective customer visits and recording of all activities and opportunities within the company's CRM.
  • Drive high-level collaborations with biopharma customers at all levels, bringing fresh insights and anticipating future opportunities and demands.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS



  • Bachelor's degree in a biological discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience with a proven track record in sales within the Biopharma market in the US. Experience in Cell and Gene Therapy is a strong plus.
  • MSc/Ph.D. in immunology, oncology, cell analysis or cancer biology preferred.
  • Ability to communicate and influence change at/with senior level customer leadership and adapt/optimize your style of communication if necessary.
  • Advanced listening & negotiation skills.
  • Excellent time and territory management habits with the ability to make pragmatic decisions in a timely manner.
  • Strong work ethic, customer-oriented, commercial acumen and ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills in both face-to-face and virtual settings, ranging from small to large groups.

Work Environment:

This job is performed in a variety of facilities. Each person performing this job must have a home office environment, which is temperature controlled. This job requires the person to be mobile to visit customer sites. Due to the travel requirements, this position may be exposed to natural elements of nature.

The hiring range for this position is expected to fall between $96,773.00 - $113,850.00/year, reflecting the range candidates can reasonably expect to be considered for at time of offer, based on factors such as experience, internal equity, and qualifications.

In addition to the base salary, the role is also eligible to participate in our broader compensation package, which includes performance-based incentives. The total compensation of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialization, skills, abilities, and training. The above range represents the Company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

In addition to your salary, the Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurance, plus a 401(k) plan. All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses, commissions, or car allowance.
