OTE: $170,000.00 - $185,000.00
On Target Earnings include all cash components: car allowance, year-end bonus, commission, and base salary.
Responsible for the sales activities within the designated territory through direct sales efforts as well as planning and supervising the weekly activity of direct Sales Representatives. Responsible for the development of strategic sales planning, market penetration and execution strategies to consistently exceed goals.
REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads and motivates a high-performing team to consistently achieve sales goals.
- Accomplishes sales territory objectives by identifying, recommending, and training Direct Sales Representatives.
- Communicates territory sales/quota expectations and reviews territory performance to ensure sales goals are achieved.
- Provides customer support as the local, corporate Territory Manager.
- Creates and implements strategic sales measures.
- Completes territory sales analysis, sales forecast, and other reports as assigned by the Regional Sales Manager.
- Works with the Marketing Department to identify, cultivate and maintain relationships with key physicians.
- Coordinates and attends local conventions/meetings/workshops as a corporate representative.
- Attends Regional and National conventions/meetings when required.
- Collaborates with the National Accounts Manager as needed for sales related activities, and achievement of specific goals with regard to national group purchasing organizations (G.P.O.) as assigned by the Regional Sales Manager.
- Targets and converts desirable integrated health networks (I.H.N.) within the territory, with the goal of increasing market share. Coordinates contract processing with the assistance of the National Accounts Manager and ensures standard discounting authority and protocol will be adhered to in the contract process.
- Personnel duties include hiring, performance management, training and career development.
- Promotes and models RWMIC Core Values in all interactions and responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acts as a liaison between the Regional Sales Manager and the field.
- Provides the Regional Sales Manager with sales and territory potential analysis.
- Completes territory activity and tasks while operating within the assigned budget.
- Maintains hospital credentialing and compliance allowing access to facilities in assigned territory.
- Aware of and complies with the RWMIC Quality Manual and regulations & requirements as they apply to this job type/position.
- Completes all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
- Completes and remains current with all product training requirements
- Other duties as assigned by the Regional Sales Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. or B.A. in related field required.
- 4 years of medical sales experience with managerial duties, highly preferred.
- Experience with endoscopic surgery products preferred. Urology experience a definite plus.
- Excellent and prompt communication skills, with the ability to function well in front of a highly educated and high-profile customer base.
- Results-oriented leadership, effective decision-making, and strong technical expertise.
- Effective time management skills, ability to prioritize workloads, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient PC skills and familiarity with all MS Office suite of products.
- Experience with and understanding of multi-cultural and multi-generational differences and the ability to work within this environment is crucial for successful employment.
