As the Director of Product Marketing, you will lead the strategy and execution of ESO's product marketing function, driving market success for both new and existing products. This high-impact, high-visibility role requires a strategic thinker who can translate market insights into compelling positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies. You will collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing leadership to influence product direction, accelerate growth, and ensure ESO's solutions resonate with our diverse customer base. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, you will manage and develop a high-performing product marketing team and serve as a key voice in shaping ESO's market presence. What You'll Be Doing - the day to day
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches and existing offerings.
- Partner with Product leadership to influence roadmap decisions based on market trends, buyer needs, and competitive intelligence.
- Evangelize ESO's value propositions across internal teams and external audiences.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to build customer personas, segmentation, and actionable insights.
- Maintain competitive intelligence and industry trends to inform positioning and messaging.
Messaging & Positioning
- Develop differentiated solution messaging that addresses buyer pain points and aligns with ESO's vision.
- Ensure consistency of messaging across all channels, including sales enablement, demand generation, and customer communications.
Sales Enablement
- Equip Sales and Business Development teams with targeted collateral, playbooks, and training.
- Drive alignment between product marketing and revenue teams to accelerate pipeline growth.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of product marketers focused on storytelling, positioning, and competitive insights.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Who You Are - the essentials
- 7+ years of B2B product marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in enterprise SaaS or technology-driven organizations.
- Strong ability to translate complex technology into clear, compelling narratives.
- Demonstrated experience influencing product strategy through market insights.
- Exceptional project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in market research and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences, including executives.
