Title- Fabrication Specialist A Location-Salt Lake City, UT Duration-12 Months Shift- 3:30 PM- 12:00 PM Job Description In this role, you will be responsible for assembling metal structure components with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of blueprints and production orders and the ability to operate various hand and power tools. Position Responsibilities: * Performs composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks * Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components * Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products * Performs basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation * Applies routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements * Works on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and requirements Required Skills: * Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed * Able to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting * Able to lift/carry up to 35 lbs Preferred Skills: * 1+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience * 3+ months experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience * Experience with managing or working to safety, quality, and manufacturing performance data * Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools) | |
