As a key contributor, you will lead technical initiatives, driving the development of highly scalable and resilient applications that align with strategic technology visions and business objectives. You will be instrumental in delivering a best-in-class authentication solution for a transaction system designed to handle immense peak volumes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with Solution and Platform Architects, championing engineering excellence, agile practices, and high-quality software standards across multiple teams. **What You'll Do**

* Lead and guide technical teams in the delivery of highly scalable, reliable, and secure applications, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and strategic technology goals.

* Architect, develop, and implement cutting-edge authentication solutions for high-volume transaction systems, ensuring optimal performance during critical market periods.

* Collaborate closely with Solution and Platform Architects to guarantee that all implementations meet stringent architectural and design standards.

* Act as a strong advocate for platform principles, guidelines, and standards, actively contributing to their evolution and adoption.

* Champion software agility and quality standards, embedding a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

* Drive the adoption and implementation of agile practices to enhance delivery speed and responsiveness.

* Coach, mentor, and support creative and passionate teammates across various development teams.

* Define, maintain, and ensure adherence to best practices in development, coding, testing, and automation standards.

**What You'll Bring**

We are looking for a visionary technologist with a passion for building secure, high-performance systems and a commitment to driving technical excellence.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

* Proven experience in software design for applications capable of handling thousands of transactions per second, achieving 99.999% availability, and integrating with multiple internal and external systems.

* Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems effectively in high-stress, time-critical situations, such as production incidents.

* Strong curiosity and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.

* Languages: Expert proficiency in Java and JavaScript, including experience with related frameworks.

* Development Skills:

* Extensive experience with Web Applications, with a preference for consumer-facing applications.

* Proficiency with Spring Cloud or similar Gateway technologies.

* Expertise in designing and implementing REST APIs.

* Hands-on experience with testing automation frameworks such as JUnit, Karma, Ruby, Cucumber, Java BDD, and Accessibility Testing.

* Experience with MongoDB.

* Operational Skills

* Proficiency with logging technologies, log analysis, and reporting tools.

* Strong background in CI/CD technologies.

* Experience with containerized deployment strategies.

* **Domain Skills:** Solid understanding of authentication protocols like OAuth and SAML.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Experience with Angular framework.

* Familiarity with .Net C#.

* Experience with PostgreSQL.

* Proficiency with specific logging tools like Splunk, BigQuery, or Grafana.

* Experience with specific CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Bamboo, Sonar, Blackduck, or Veracode.

* Experience deploying to cloud platforms like GCP or AWS.

* Background in Performance Testing and Engineering.

* Prior experience developing Identity and Authentication solutions for use by other applications.

* Understanding of NIST Identity Standards.
